This sweet little lady came to us from a pet store, as she was just so nervous by being in the store and having children bang on the glass to try to get her attention.. and it was really stressing her out so much.
We were very happy to bring her home though.
She is currently being looked after by the "Mother Goose", Stewie, who actually thinks that she is his baby.. its just so stinking cute!
She will hopefully be moving on into the girls herd in a few weeks.
Cambry is a British x Abyssinian.

Baby Maisie-Nugget, (AKA MoonPig, according to PigDad!), is 1 of the 2 newest little ladies to join The Ark family.
She is just 3 months old, born in late January 2022, she and the rest of her siblings, were given up to a pet store, where PigMom & PigDad found them, frightened and hiding.
They just had to come home with us!
Maisie-Nugget gained the "Nugget" part to her name, because she reminds PigMom of her dear friend Lily's, late Nugget Girl. So PigMom thought that it would be nice to include "Nugget" in her name.
She is also the 2nd Ark Resident to be named after PigMom's friend Lily... Luna was named after Lilly's Mama Luna, who she sadly lost in June 2020. Now, Our Little Luna has crossed over the rainbow bridge too, so they're happily playing together.

Baby Nora, (AKA Funky Pigeon, according to PigDad!), is 1 of the 2 newest little ladies to join The Ark family.
Although PigMom doesn't like PigDad calling her "Funky Pigeon"..., PigMom does actually have an even worse nickname for her... Nitty Nora, The Flea Explorer!

Nora is sisters with Baby Maisie-Nugget, and she is an Abyssinian.

Stuart Little (AKA Stu/Stewie), was surrendered over to our care in June 2021, after a group of wrongly sexed guinea pigs were sold to a family, by a large chain pet store.
When they arrived, the family actually thought that he had already died, as he had been so very badly bullied from the moment that he was born.
He was desperately under weight, had very large wounds all over his tiny body, he was surviving by eating the other guinea pigs poops and any scraps of food that they dropped.
We just really 'clicked', and he has not left PigMom's side ever since!
He's such a gentle and sweet piggie, who loves his momma just as much as she loves him!

The now 3rd youngest member of The Ark family, is Delilah!
She is a super sweet, ever-so slightly insane, cute little fluff-ball, who loves to do her daily 'Zoomies' and gets her sisters Reign and Dixie Bear to join in with her!
She's already got a ton of sass, and we can already tell that she's going to be a diva when she grows up!
She already likes to steal nummies from her big sisters and runs away eating it! She's such a little monkey already!
Delilah passed away suddenly in march 2023, aged just 11 months old.

This beautiful bundle of fluff joined the Ark family just after Christmas 2020.
She originally came in with her mama and 3 sisters, but PigMom & PigDad just totally fell in love with her straight away, and just knew that she had to stay with us.
Her nickname is "Mountain Goat", or "MG" for short, as she can literally climb up anything and everything!

Dixie Bear was born here at The Ark, after her momma was surrendered as par of a large group of piggies.
Unfortunately, when her momma was giving birth to her and her siblings.. her momma damaged both of little Dixie's eyes.
She is completely blind, and will need her eyes removed eventually, as this will be the best thing for her in the long term.
We don't mind though, and is certainly doesn't bother Dixie Bear one bit either!
The Ark Residents
Averleigh - 1 Year Old
Beautiful Baby Averleigh came to us after a few litters were given to our local pet store. She was one of 15 females in a cage, but she really stood out to us, as she is so much like our late Crystal piggie, who passed away in mid 2019.
Averleigh has earned the nickname "Peep-Peep", as she doesn't stop talking constantly!
She is such a sweet and gentle little girl.. but my goodness she has got a lot to say! PigDad thinks that she takes after PigMom for that!
Aston & Milo - 3 Years Old
Aston (Left) & Milo (Right), came to join our family in Feb 2020.
They are brothers and they currently live together very happily.
They are not neutered as yet.. but that is something that we plan to have done in the very near future, so that they can play with our females and maybe even live with the full time eventually.
Aston is the sweetest little boy, who loves cuddles and kisses.. while Milo lives his life at a constant 100mph!
We often joke that Aston is just like PigMom & Milo is like PigDad.. as both Milo & PigDad cant sit still for more that a few minutes at a time!
Loghan & Lokai - 3.5 Years
These are The Arks resident skinny pigs!
They are cheeky, silly and very playful.
As they don't have fur (other than they small amount on their nose and feet), they love the feel of soft and fluffy things against their noodie bodies.
They have to eat more than piggies with fur, just to generate more energy to keep themselves warm., and they are the BEST piggies to have snuggles with in the winter time, as they are like little hot water bottles!
Rogue - 3 Years Old - Passed Away 19th March 2023
She may not be the eldest of our girls.. But she has the BIGGEST personality!
She is the most stroppy, spoiled, little "Brat Baby" that there ever was.. but we wouldn't change her for anything.
She has PigMom & PigDad totally wrapped around her little paws.. and boy.. doesn't she know it!
Her favourite thing to do, is to go online shopping for treats and toys.. and this is no joke! She touches the screen when she see's something that she wants.. and PigMom has the pleasure of just paying for it all! - The hard life that the piggies have to face here is unreal!
Rouge passed away suddenly on mothers day here in the uk, 19th march 2023, aged just 3 1/2 years old.
Nala - 5 Years Old
This sweet little lady is Nala (Banana).
She originally joined us to be a friend for Crystal, when Andy Panda passed away.
She lived happily with her, until we lost Crystal in 2019.
She then moved in with Mr Macs & Kendall, before finally becoming part of our all girl group, when Mr Macs & Jacob passed away in 2020, and we merged our 5 females together.
Although she is a super shy little lady, she is a very happy girl. She is quiet most of the time, but when its time to trim nails.. she will complain very loudly to whoever it is doing it!
Luna - 2016 ~11th Feb 2022
Little Luna came in to us with another piggie, but the other piggie was really mean to her all the time, so we moved her into a cage on her own.
She was then due to be adopted, but the country went into lock down due to Covid-19, so the family were not able to take her in.
As she had then been on her own for weeks, we decided to let her play with our female group. She ended up really settling in with them, so we spoke with the family that wanted her, and we all agreed that she would stay and live here with us.
She passed away suddenly on 11th feb 2022, after recovering from just a slight upper respiratory infection a few weeks prior.
She is dearly missed from The Ark's girl herd.
Miss Kendall - 2015 ~ 23rd November 2020
"Missy K" joined us in 2016 at 6 months old, after one of our own family members were unable to care for her any longer.
She caused trouble on the day that she arrived, and most certainly has kept up her sassy attitude ever since!
She may not be the eldest piggie in the girls group.. but she is surly the Queen Bee!
Our dear sweet, sassy, fuzzy princess, passed away suddenly on 23rd November 2020. She wasn't in any pain or discomfort, which we are all very grateful for. She is, and always will be dearly missed.
Wig-Wigs (AKA Wiggie) - 8th Jan 2014 ~ 14th Jan 2021
This beautiful girl was left outside a rabbit rescue with her 2 sisters, in 2013. They contacted us shortly after and we took them in.
After doing their health checks, it was obvious that Wiggie had little to no sight, and absolutely no hearing.
We decided from that moment, that she was going to stay with us, and become a member of the Ark family.
She lived with her love, Jacob from then until he passed away in Feb 2020.
She then moved in with all our girls and is was eldest lady in our "Girl Squad", at the lovely age of 7 years old.
Wiggie became ill on 8th Jan 2021, and battled for 6 days, before passing over the rainbow bridge, peacefully laying in PigMoms arms, being stroked by PigMom & PigDad.
Jacob Black - 2014 ~ 27th Feb 2020
Jacob, aka Pooh Bear, came into us after being dumped at a local pet store, alongside his cage mate.
They were left in such an appalling condition, that the other piggie didn't survive.
Because of this, it meant that Jacob too could of had other life long heath issues.. so the pet store contacted us, and asked if we would be willing to take him in and care for him.. PigMom (Lu), didn't need to even think about it.. she went and picked him up immediately!
He lived with a girl of ours that had special needs of her own, and he was such an angel to her, by looking after her and guiding her around, right up until he passed away.
Jacob actually had been battling Upper Respiratory Infection for 10 days, but his little body just couldn't fight any longer.
Mr Macs - November 2015 ~ 29th May 2020
Mr Macs become part of the Ark family back in 2016, when his original family needed to move from the UK back to the USA.
He was such a big silly floof.., and PigMom (Lu) totally fell in love with him within seconds.
He was very loved by so many people, both here and online.. and was well known for being a total idiot.. He even earned himself the nickname "Mr Stupid Face!"
Mr Macs passed away after a short illness in May 2020.
Crystal - 28th Feb 2013 ~ 9th July 2019
Crystal was such a huge personality here at The Ark.
Although she passed away in 2019, at 6 years old, She will never be forgotten and will always live on in our hearts and memories always.
Crystal was put to sleep in the middle of surgery, after it was discovered that she had a huge tumour in her abdomen.
She was also a bit of an internet celebrity, who was know as the "Queen Diva"!
Crystal lived with her Andy Panda Pig, until he sadly passed away in 2018. She then went on to live with Nala, who was just 4 months old when she joined her, and she stayed with her until her passing.

This handsome boy stole our hearts the day he came into our lives.., and although he is no longer here.. we will always miss his happy, sweet personality.
He was such a gentle-pig and he loved Crystal very much.
He lived with her, until he passed away in July 16th 2018, from cancer of the kidneys.
NO ROOM AT THE INN!
We are currently NOT ABLE to take in any more fluffs.
We are full to the very max, and with 11 pregnant females in, we are so very past our usual full capacity!
Once things calm down, we will be able to open our doors to more surrenders once again.
In the meantime, we truly appreciate your understanding and patience.
